How would we create meaningful, collaborative mentorship experiences between high school and Kindergarten students?

- How does participating in the mentorship increase engagement for non-academic high school students? How do we increase opportunities for mentorship for our non-academic students?
- How can collaboration and mentorship with high school students increase Kindergarten students’ self regulation?
The intended audience for this project is kindergarten teachers and high school teachers, in the Rockyview school division, but possibly also in the rest of Alberta. They will benefit from our research by being able to take the collaborative project and apply it to their classrooms, as well as use it as a springboard for more collaborative inquiries between two groups who may not have been previously thought to be symbiotic.
